I am searching for the piece as I make it. The process is a collaboration between myself and the materials -- vestiges of time that I am piecing together onto a singular plane. The shards are waste, failures, and discarded objects. Some of the remnants are broken and abandoned ceramics from art school projects. Others are fragments I have collected from the river shoreline, which have been eroded by wind and water over time.

Opening Reception, Friday December 1st, 6-9pm. [Eastern Market]
