Virginia wineries are filled with the spirit of the season, decked out and ready to  welcome visitors with special tastings and gift ideas for your favorite wine lovers.  Holiday activities throughout the state are listed in December Events, and our featured festival is the Winter Wine Celebration at the Virginia Beach Convention Center this weekend.  Virginia wines make perfect gifts, so get ready to shop!  

Congratulations to John Williams of Madison Heights, winner  
of the October Getaway Sweepstakes with deluxe accommodations and complimentary meals at the fabulous Tides Inn in Irvington.  The Tides was recently named Best Resort in Virginia by Conde Nast Traveler's "Best Hotel or Resort in Every State."

Sponsored by the Virginia Wineries Association, the festive event will be held on Saturday, December 2 at the Virginia Beach Convention Center from noon to 6:00 pm.  The Center is magically transformed into a Winter Wonderland just in time for holiday shopping.  There are perfect gifts for wine lovers, including a great selection of Virginia wines, wine accessories and unique gift items.
