2018 MISSION TRIPS: IS GOD CALLING YOU?
ALL APPLICATIONS DUE JANUARY 15
We have four exciting mission trips planned for 2018, and we'd love for you to come along to help support our missions partners and to spread God's love throughout the world. Where is God calling you to go?
Families with kids of all ages are welcome! We'll do children's ministry, host business development seminars, lead fun outreach activities to support our church plant, and help build a home for a family. Business, construction, and Spanish-speaking skills would be especially helpful, but anyone willing to work and love on children would be a blessing and enjoy this trip.
VRBC is sending a team to South Asia to plant seeds of hope for women who have been trafficked and enslaved. The team will also minister to women who have been rescued. Men are welcome, too!
Come and minister alongside VRBC-supported missionaries Juvenal and Katty Bejar through evangelism, discipleship, local pastor and leader training, and children's ministry.
Partner with field personnel who serve in Indonesia to support their ministry among college students and the community.
APPLICATIONS FOR ALL TRIPS DUE JANUARY 15, 2018
To find the application form and details about costs, travel, and scholarship availability, click on the trip links above or visit vrbc.net/serve. You can also

ADVENT TEACHING SERIES CONTINUES
THIS SUNDAY'S HUNGER: RENEWAL
During the holiday season, we all focus on making sure things are "full" . . . our houses full of family, our trees full of ornaments (and presents), and our stomachs full of delicious food. But even in the midst of all this fullness, we sometimes find that there is still a sense of emptiness gnawing at us from the inside. Even in the "Land of Full," we often find ourselves experiencing hunger deep in our souls.
We invite you to join us Sunday mornings at 9:30 and 11:00 this Advent season for "Hungry," a teaching series that explores how Jesus satisfies our deepest hungers in the way that only He can do.

DECEMBER 24 AT 11:00 AM AND 6:00 PM
Join us Christmas Eve Sunday at one of two identical Christmas Eve worship services. This family-oriented service is a favorite every year and includes singing Christmas carols, hearing a special message for kids (and one for the grown-ups too!), and a reading of the Christmas story. The tradition of lighting candles and singing
Silent Night
together by candlelight at the end of the service is always one of the highlights of the church year.
INVITE OPPORTUNITY!
The Christmas Eve service is very guest-friendly and is a wonderful time to invite friends and extended family to visit our church. Childcare will be available for kids pre-K and younger.
