We enjoyed seeing so many students take advantage of the opportunity to "Dress for Success" this week. Those of you who participated looked amazing and made a wonderful impression on the GOC staff and administration.
Parents and students, we hope that you join us for a fantastic evening next Thursday, November 16 at 6 p.m. for GOC's 5th annual Talent Show. We are truly excited to see what these students have in store for us as they showcase their talents. A special thank you to our students and staff who have worked so hard organizing this exciting evening.

Grades 4-12: Club Friday
Club Friday will be held on
Friday, November 10 from 9 a.m.-Noon. Students may plan to stay the entire time or drop-in for the club or clubs of choice.
The next few Fine Arts Club sessions will specifically be for our final rehearsals of the "Be Our Guest" group performance for the 5th Annual GOC Talent Show. If you are involved in this event please plan to attend the following sessions:
Preliminary rounds for this year's National Geographic Bee were held during Social Studies Friday on
Friday, November 3. If you did not attend this event and would still like to try-out for the finalist round, please contact
Ms. Charissa Crook by
Friday, December 1.
All students can create individual ePortfolios within Brightspace/D2L. The ePortfolio is a place where students can save their best examples of work and projects throughout the school year.
A video with step-by-step directions on the process is available in the online homeroom. At the end of the school year, students will have the opportunity to share their ePortfolios at a special showcase.
