This week's adventures..
This past week was certainly a
long, short
week for our teachers! Thank you to all of our parents who took the time out of their busy schedules to attend parent teacher conferences. Your involvement and participation in your child’s education is imperative! In order for your child to achieve his/her greatest potential, academically, socially, and spiritually, a team approach is essential. Thank you for your commitment to collaborating with us to maximize your child(ren)’s potential.
November is whizzing by, and before we know it the holidays will be upon us. As usual, the “
St. Francis spirit”
was demonstrated by the generous donation of canned goods and non-perishable items to support the St. Vincent DePaul Society. Thank you for your stewardship and charitable giving. The gathering of these items serves as a wonderful example for our students of providing for those less fortunate than ourselves.
If you have not done so already, please take the time to share the
Vision 2022
monthly edition of
Clearer Vision
to alumnus of SFX! It is our desire to build a strong foundation of alumni to help us build the future of our school. Kindly join us in our efforts of inviting back students of the past, as sheep rejoining the fold, as we increase the bond of communication between past and present.
Another long weekend is upon us, and we not only enjoy a second consecutive Friday off, but this weekend we take the time to reflect upon and pray for the
brave men and women who have served and currently serve our country.
Our school family has a number of former and active service men/women, and our hearts are filled with gratitude for your commitment to our country. May God bless you and may God bless America, as we celebrate our Veteran’s this weekend.
Finally, as the holidays close in on us, please pay close attention to our Calendar of Events on our school website. In addition to the scrolling calendar of daily events, monthly calendars can also be accessed for proper planning for upcoming school events throughout the holiday season.
God bless you and have a great long weekend-
~Mrs. Russo
