Making Data-Driven Health Information Available to Providers
atom Alliance is collaborating with  Kentucky's Health Information Exchange (KHIE) and other statewide  stakeholders to make data-driven health information available to providers.

Through their partnership, a bold commitment was made to help 90 percent of  eligible clinicians in Kentucky successfully participate in the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services' (CMS)  Quality Payment Program during performance year 2017.

As a participant in atom Alliance's collaborative, NHC Oak Ridge located in Oak Ridge, Tenn. was able to lower the number of residents on antipsychotic medications.

"We noticed an opportunity for improvement to provide better care for our residents," said Jeff Tambornini, administrator at NHC Oak Ridge.
atom Alliance has convened a medication safety advisory board called TIMES ( T eam for  I nnovation in  ME dication  S afety) with healthcare providers who share a passion for medication safety and a desire to improve patient care. Read more to see what they've accomplished working together.
Medicare is taking steps to remove Social Security numbers from Medicare cards. Through this initiative the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) will prevent fraud, fight identity theft and protect essential program funding and the private healthcare and financial information of Medicare beneficiaries.
