Charlie is one of the 
strongest voices in the musical worlds of the Celts, Early American and Civil War.  He is one of the most 
popular soloist at Celtic Festivals. Charlie will be accompanied by Tad Marks on the fiddle. The concert is free and refreshments will be served.
LGBTQ+ 101 Panel
Mental Health & Addiction Ministry 
Sunday, October 15

Trinity Presbyterian Church, Berwyn
Trinity's Mental Health & Addiction Ministry will be hosting a luncheon/panel titled LGBTQ+ 101 on October 15.   We'll educate our church and community about what some of the vocabulary means and what it looks like for individuals to be a part of the LGBTQ community.   The panel will consist of members of the Gender and Sexuality Alliance from Conestoga High School and an Eastern University Alumni.   The moderator for this panel will be Yolanda Turner, Ph.D., Eastern University.
 
Please join us for a brief presentation over lunch followed by a panel discussion featuring Conestoga High School students and Eastern University Alumni.

Worship Service and Celebration
Octorara Covenanter Presbyterian Foundation Octorara Shrine
Sunday, October 29 at 3pm
Covenanter (Shrine) Church, Quarryville
The Octorara Covenanter Presbyterian Foundation will hold its annual Worship Service and Celebration on Sunday, October 29 at the Covenanter (Shrine) Church. A new pulpit will be dedicated. It was designed and built by the featured speaker, Robert M. McCullough, Jr. He will illustrate and explain how this "period piece" emerged from thought, design, and craftsmanship.

The program will also include the whistle music of Bob Pegritz, and the "Kirkin' O' Th' Tartans" ceremony. At the conclusion of the program, refreshments will be served in the attached schoolroom museum. This will also be an opportunity to observe the recent work on the cemetery wall west of the building.   Thanks to two generous donors, a piece of history has been restored.

Bethany Presbyterian Church, Lancaster
   
October 14: Iglesia Resurrección will celebrate our annual Noche Latina on Saturday October 14, 5:30pm-8pm, featuring food, music and fun from the countries represented in our congregation and community. All are welcome and admission is free!  This is a way for the church to reach out to the community and enjoy an evening together.  Noche Latina will take place in the fellowship hall of Bethany Church. 
Craft Fair & Christmas Bazaar
Friday, November 10 from 5pm-8pm 
& Saturday, November 11 from 9am-3pm
Avondale Presbyterian Church     
The 2017 Avondale PC Craft Fair and Christmas Bazaar will be held Friday, November 10 and Saturday, November 11. The popular event features over 50 crafters and vendors selling a wide variety of distinctive hand-made crafts, woodworking, jewelry and fashion accessories, Christmas decorations and gift ideas, Vermont cheese, homemade confections, toys, books, and much more. Also featured is the aptly named Attic Treasures where previously loved items will be sold at affordable prices. Delicious homemade chili, vegetarian chili, chicken corn soup, desserts, and more will be available for purchase both days.  

Proceeds from the event will be shared with Oxford Neighborhood Services, The Kennett Food Cupboard, The Bridge at Avon Grove Church of the Nazarene, as well as the APC building fund. Attendees are welcome and encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to help replenish the pantry shelves at these local food banks.
