High Performance Habits
In this book h igh performance is defined as "succeeding beyond standard norms, consistently over the long-term".  The 6 habits include 3 Personal: Seek Clarity, Generate Energy and Raise Necessity and 3 Social: Increase Productivity, Develop Influence and Demonstrate Courage.    This book is a "science-backed, heart-centered plan to living a better quality of life" in which Brendon Burchard reminds us that " a rising tide lifts all boats - one habit lifts all others."  In his research, he found that high performers tend to be fully immersed, enjoy what they are doing and have confidence in their ability to figure things out.    Visit www.highperformanceindicator.com
Google Forms for Education
Figuring out what individual students are thinking can be done on paper or by a survey of hands or with technology like Google Forms which can be used in real time or as homework asynchronously. Here is a short quiz on breakeven analysis ( http://bit.ly/Math102Breakeven) that students did during the class in real time on the web browser on their phones.  Google Forms can collect information in various formats including multiple choice, checkboxes, dropdown, short answer or paragraph formats.   Photos can be uploaded to add visuals and  www.bitly.com will shorten and rename links.                                                   Alice Keeler on Google Forms
