NaNoWriMo-Come Write In!

The Moline Public Library will be a host site for this year's NaNoWriMo contest to write a novel in a month. The library will provide a quiet space for you to write on Mondays from 2:00-7:00 p.m., with a final session on Thursday, November 30 to help you get to your goal.

LEGO Robotics

Students in grades 4-8 can learn the basic LEGO Robotics as part of the Project Next Generation grant. Create commands and modify them to have your robot compete in a sumo-bot contest. Attendance at all three sessions on November 6, 13, and 20 is recommended. Registration is required and space is limited. This program is developed pursuant to a Library Services and Technology act grant administered by the Illinois State Library using funds provided by the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services.
