Life Transformation at Camp

I wrote about this experience in the 2017 Annual Letter to our churches, because not everyone will read that letter here it is again. It's why we are here and it's what we get to be a part of as God shows up in amazing ways at camp...

Lake Beauty is all about life transformation. One of the most amazing opportunities I had this Summer was week one with Junior High 1 camp. It was Tuesday night which is "U-Turn" night. This year as students left the chapel they were encouraged to write things on a piece of paper that they wanted to leave at the cross. As they exited the chapel a Summer Staffer would take their piece of paper and nail it to the cross. They were told that if once they had nailed their "junk" to the cross they could come back to the chapel and do business with God or head back to their cabin and get ready for bed. That first U-Turn night, 2 boys went back into the chapel to finish their business with God. Once they were finished they walked out of the chapel and as they looked at the cross, all the 100's of pieces of paper were gone. As those two boys walked towards the cross, they both went to their knees and began to pray together.

Solid Rock Update

2 Months In!
Two months have already gone by in our Solid Rock school year! It has been a blessing to walk alongside our students this year as they have thought deeply about what it means to live in Christ-centered community, and to serve, lead, and learn within the community. Students will get a week of rest for Thanksgiving before the end of semester finals' rush. Please be praying for them as they complete their first semester!

A Word From Covenant Trust

Covenant Trust Company is growing. We're growing because more and more people are recognizing the need to invest and save for retirement. We're growing because more and more people understand the importance of estate planning for their families. We're growing because more and more people want to affect change in their community and in the world, and so more people are giving charitably to Lake Beauty Bible Camp and other Covenant ministries.
We know we do more than simply manage our clients' money and investments: we're helping them provide, care for, and support the people and ministries that are most important to them. And because what we do affects so many lives, we don't view our work as just a job - we see it as a ministry. We see it as an opportunity to bring our clients peace of mind.
So Covenant Trust Company is growing. We're growing because we want to provide unparalleled personal care for our clients. We're growing because we know that our clients' goals are vitally important and we want to do our best to support them. We're growing because we desire to serve more and more people who need help and direction when it comes to investing, retirement planning, estate planning, and charitable giving.
One of the greatest joys we experience as a company is seeing how our clients' generosity and forethought positively impact them, their families, and the ministries they support. It is rewarding when clients tell us they worry less about their finances and can focus on the things they love and enjoy because of our ministry.  You may contact any one of the Financial Service Representatives serving the Northwest Conference and let us know how our ministry can serve you.
