Local Churches on the Front Lines
Helping the Body of Christ be the hands and feet of Jesus to hurricane-affected areas in the USA

Even in times of tragedy and sorrow, the Lord moves and works, accomplishing His purposes. This Biblical truth has been so evident to our missionary team as we continue to serve our church partners on the ground in Texas & Florida.

This past month, we welcomed some unexpected visitors to our ministry office - members of the City of Franklin Ohio's Police Department. The P.D. wanted to involve our city in collecting for hurricane relief, and as an officer told our missionary team - "We thought of Caring Partners first!"

So with the support of our local Police, the City of Franklin and its School District started a collection drive, gathering personal care products in barrels placed throughout the city. And the results? Caring Partners has already shipped more than 18,000 pounds of relief supplies to our church partners in Texas and Florida, with more staged in our warehouse, equipping these churches to be the hands & feet of Jesus to their own neighbors!

One area where our church partners were able to minister to those in need was in southwest Florida, an area which was greatly affected by Hurricane Irma. One community devastated by the storm was Immokalee, a town about 40 miles inland from Ft. Myers. Many residents reside in mobile homes, and many of those homes took significant damage from the storm. What a blessing for local churches to come alongside those affected, sharing much needed supplies and materials, and also delivering His Good News!

PRAYER REQUESTS

"Pray without ceasing."
1 Thessalonians 5:17

Please continue to remember the Hurricane survivors in your prayers. Caring Partners continues to reach out through our church partners in the affected areas to minister to both the physical and spiritual needs of the local communities impacted by the storms.

On Friday, November 3rd, Caring Partners will take a medical mission team to Guatemala. Pray for our U.S. and Guatemalan team members as they prepare to serve the Lord in a city with tremendous needs.

Praise the Lord - Caring Partners has received a large matching grant for our newly established Medical Missionary Development Fund. The purpose of this Fund is to support new medical missionaries who surrender to serve full-time with Caring Partners, but who need some financial assistance as they begin the process of raising their personal support. Pray with us as we ask God to touch the hearts of those who could help provide the financial resources necessary to ensure we receive all of the matching funds pledged. Interested in learning more?
