October 2017
Assistance League® of Southeastern Michigan
Hosting Local Book Drive
Looking for a great way to help make a difference for children in our community?  Donate NEW books to Assistance League of Southeastern Michigan's Book Drive from October 2-24, 2017.  In an effort to help encourage children to read, national Assistance League and its many chapters (25,000+ members nationwide) will be participating in this year's Legacy of Literacy Book Drive.

In the past four years, the Book Drive was a success nationally and in Michigan with the Southeastern Michigan chapter collecting over 13,000 books.  The books were distributed to children through the chapter's philanthropic programs: Operation School Bell® , Wee Help, One-2-One Tutoring; and to local school libraries, pediatric clinics, Boys & Girls Clubs, Neighborhood House, and The Children's Center.

A book drop box will be available in the downtown Rochester area at the ReSale Connection (204 S. Main).

Book Wish List available HERE. For more information, please contact Barb Roller at ReSale Connection, 248-656-0414.

We will also accept monetary donations for books.
Click the Donate button for donation details on our website. If sending a check or using a credit card, please enter Book Drive 2017  in the "Write a note" or "Comment" section of the available forms.

Thank YOU!
