Crisis Text Line Saves Lives
Did you know?
* Over 1 million texters use Crisis Text Line each month
* The Crisis Text Line averages 10 active rescues per day
* 75% of the users of the service are under age 25
The
Crisis Text Line (CTL)
is a free service that anyone can use to connect with
a Crisis Counselor by texting
"4hope" to 741 741. Their goal is to make it as easy as possible to connect with help.

Addiction is a disease that affects the whole family. Friends and family members of those struggling with an addiction sometimes feel isolated and discouraged.
"People can and do recover. The recovery movement offers a valuable opportunity for people with substance use disorders and their loved ones to get the support they need to gradually return to a healthy and productive life away from the destructive impact of substance use."

Compulsive Hoarding Workshop for Clinicians
This training is designed to broaden the knowledge and skill base for Summit County clinicians treating persons with hoarding and related disorders and offers 3 CEUs for social workers, counselors, psychologists, and RNs.
The training will be presented by Gabrielle Faggella, MSSA, LISW-S, ACSW and will focus on the criteria that defines hoarding, understanding hoarding behaviors, assessing the disorder and implementing appropriate evidence-based interventions.
