TEEN LEADERSHIP CLASS OF 2018

The Chamber is now accepting applications for the Teen Leadership Cherokee Class of 2018.  Deadline to apply is Thursday, October 12th. Students must be in 10 th  grade to apply.

The mission of Teen Leadership Cherokee, which graduated its first class in 2001, is to develop the knowledge and leadership skills of young people so they may confidently become our leaders of tomorrow. Teen Leadership Cherokee will accomplish this mission by offering a series of class sessions exploring topics such as community involvement, personal development, team building and educational and economic responsibility.

Help a student determine their career goals by speaking at the upcoming 8th grade career fairs! Choose your school or schools below then respond by email and let us know where you, or others from your company, would like to speak! We will also need the following information for each speaker:

Name, title, company, cell number & email

Don't forget to also provide the name of the preferred school(s) for each speaker.

Speakers move from classroom to classroom at the schools yet the number of times someone speaks, and the length of their remarks, will vary with each school. Once you choose the school(s) and provide us with each speaker's information (name, title, company, cell phone number, email) you will receive a confirmation email that includes specifics for the requested school(s). You will also be provided with the details for a career fair orientation that speakers are encouraged to attend. Please note that your cell phone number will not be distributed - that is only in case we need to get in touch with you the day you speak.
