SBA WEEKLY UPDATES:

Food Drive:
SBA is sponsoring a food drive to benefit the Holy Redeemer Food Pantry. The drive will run from November 20 to December 5. Students are asked to bring canned goods and boxed items, such as cereal and pasta, to their religion classes.

College Visits:
Juniors and Seniors:
The following colleges and universities will be visiting Saint Basil Academy during the week of November 20. If you would like to meet with a college representative, please sign up on Naviance. Also please get permission from your teacher if your visit is during class time.

Seniors:
If the schools you have applied to request first quarter grades to be sent, please stop in to the Counseling Office and sign up. Do
not request first quarter grades on Naviance.

Seniors:
As you receive your college acceptances, please bring in your letters of acceptance and any merit/scholarship awards to the Counseling office. As a reminder, each Senior is allotted 8 transcripts. There is a $5.00 fee for each additional transcript.

Transportation for Wednesday, 11/22
There is an early dismissal on Wednesday, November 22 at 12:00pm. The following buses will come for early dismissal:
Abington, Centennial, Cheltenham, Hatboro-Horsham, Lower Moreland, Neshaminy, Springfield, Upper Dublin, Upper Moreland, Wissahickon.
If your daughter's bus is not on the list, please make other arrangements for her transportation home.

The Broadway Musical Hairspray
Auditions are open to ALL Students.
We need you to make this happen!
Cast and Crew will receive .25 Arts Credit.
Audition Dates: Tuesday, December 12 and Thursday, December 14 @ 3:15 pm.

ooking for a few good men to play various roles.
Dance audition practice scheduled for Tuesday 12/14 3-4:30. These are not mandatory.

There will be an information meeting regarding Hairspray on Tuesday, November 21 at the beginning at lunch for all who are interested in being a member of the cast or crew.

It is not too late to return your 10 week club tickets. Your tickets are good for all ten weeks of the drawing. View the list of winners

Volunteering
Please return the yellow volunteer forms that were handed out at Back to School night.
The volunteer form is also available on the SBA website. We are asking that each family volunteer for at least 2 events this year. A list of activities is on our webpage. There are student related events, Parents' Club events and Development events. We have amazing people in place in Admissions, Development and Leadership. Let's give them all the help we can.
New York City Bus Trip, Friday, December 8th
We
have only 10 seats left on our Luxury coach for $35.
Sit back, relax and let someone else do the driving!

You will not be able to ride the bus without those waiver forms.
8:00 am: Departure from SBA / 8:30 pm: Return to SBA.
