Lunches will open November 12th and will close November 16th at midnight. There will be some additional items on the Chick-Fil-A menu starting in December. Parents and Staff take a look!

College Corner
Seniors

All Seniors should have at least one application of one of their choice of colleges filled out by the end of November. Over the Thanksgiving break is an ideal time to do this. Also, parents who will have seniors going to college next year should also start the FAFSA process. Please contact Mr. Zimmerman if you have questions.

College Visits

Note that on Wednesday, November 8, Sandhills Community College is scheduled to be at the St. Anthony's campus during the students' lunch break. Any parent wishing to meet with the rep at that time are also welcome to come to get answers to any questions they may have regarding the local community college.

Red Bowl Fundraiser

Red Bowl Take Out Fundraiser is in full swing and sales are awesome!!!  The first week we sold 160 tickets - AMAZING!!! 
 
This year we are trying class competitions.  The class that reaches 75% or greater of their goal will receive a fun party with the Red Bowl Queen!!!  And if that isn't enough excitement at SCCS - the top seller for Preschool, K-5 and 6-12 will get an incredible prizes.  

Red Bowl Take Out Fundraiser is not only a great deal for families and friends - but don't forget the teachers and staff at SCCS get to reap our hard work.  This fundraiser helps give our teachers and staff a little extra at Christmas.  So let's show them how much we appreciate their hard work and sell those Red Bowl Tickets.  

A few friendly reminders:
Tickets will be sold the entire month of November.
The actual tickets will come home with the students the first week of December.
The tickets can be redeemed in January (except January 15).
Money is due when forms are turned in. 
Spirit Night

Chick-Fil-A is our next Spirit Night. Tuesday  November 14, 2017 from  5-7 pm!! Hope to see you there!!

2017 Golf Classic

Golf Tournament was a success. God blessed us with beautiful weather! Thank you to everyone who came out to support the athletic department, and thank you to all of the sponsors! 

Parent Night Out

Theme : Something you are thankful for show and tell (bring in a picture of something or someone alive)         
When: Friday, November 17, 2017 6:00pm - 9:00pm
Cost: $20 for first child and $10 for each additional sibling

Grandparents' Day

We are celebrating Grandparents this month!  Friday, November 17th will be Grandparent Appreciation Day.  We are inviting all grandparents to come and have a snack with us and enjoy a short presentation from their grandchild's class.  Watch for more details this week, via email.

Christmas Program

This is the time of year that the children come home singing Christmas songs, as we begin practicing for the upcoming programs!  Mark your calendars. The programs will be held at Grace Church, at 6:30pm.  Christ Fellowship campus will have their program on Monday, December 11th and Pinehurst campus will be on Tuesday, December 12th.  We are having a Polar Express Night and would love for the children to come dressed in their Christmas PJ's!
Preschool Pumpkin Investigations

Please enjoy a snapshot from some of the classrooms investigation Pumpkins!  Providing preschoolers with opportunities to see, smell, and touch God's creation is a wonderful experience for them.  Classes enjoyed inspecting the insides, doing math with the seeds, and being creative as they decorated their own pumpkins.

National Merit Commendation

Connor Black received his National Merit Commendation certificate from Mr. Zimmerman this past week. Connor is one of 34,000 high performers nationwide that was named Commended Student by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation. Congratulations Connor on a job well done!

Fun was had by all at the Greek Feast! Thanks to all the volunteers and students for making this a great experience!!
