RETAINING EMPLOYEES
Panel members will share ideas, innovations and best practices to create and maintain a strong retention plan.
Monday evening begins early this year with our ANNUAL AWARDS RECEPTION at 4:30 pm. We will honor individuals and organizations for outstanding achievements or support of CP of NYS and its Affiliates. There will be a short dance demonstration and performance by two dancers from the New York City Ballet and a group of children from CP of NYS Affiliates. Delicious food and drinks will be available and you will have time to mingle with friends and colleagues; and it all ends by 7:30 pm. Following the reception you can remain in the hotel, or venture out and experience the restaurants and bars of historic and beautiful Saratoga Springs. If you plan to dine out on the town, please be sure to make reservations early. See some of our favorite Saratoga spots HERE.

SUPPORTING DECISION MAKING

Anne Buechner, Quality Enhancement Specialist, The Council on Quality and Leadership, will help participants develop responses to decision making authority situations (human rights issues) pertinent to people receiving supports and services. Particular attention will be paid to decision making authority in areas of freedom of association, the right of equal protection, and the right to an adequate due process.  In group facilitated activities participants will apply practical, actionable steps to focus on people's decision making authority.

Join Anne on Tuesday, October 31 from 1:45 to 3:00 p.m.!
VISIT THE CP MARKETPLACE ON TUESDAY!

New this year at the Conference is the CP Marketplace!  Learn about the country's first ever fully accessible high ropes course for people with disabilities, sample fresh wheatgrass juice, watch cooking demonstrations, witness life changing innovative technology, and more!  All brought to you by CP of NYS Affiliates.

Beverage breaks in the morning and afternoon will be available in the marketplace, so there's an added reason to stop by between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm on Tuesday, October 31 and browse, shop and learn!
