Scozzie Squash - learn, improve, win - the answer since 2011!
Hi, Everyone.

Congratulations to all our Scozzie players who were in Boston this past weekend for the Frank Millet JCT!  The standard of junior squash is so high it is impressive simply to qualify!  Special mention to our three semi-finalists, Peter, Elle and Meghna and congratulations to Eric for making his first BU19 JCT final and to Shaam on winning his third straight JCT!  Awesome performances and more to come from everyone as the season goes on!

Our Winter Phase is almost upon us and you can get all the low down on lesson slots, packages, winter camps and more right here.  If you have any questions, or would like recommendations about winter programming, please reply to this email and I'll make sure you're 100% clear about the way forward.

Also a reminder that on a day in and day out basis you can check out our new Scozzie Notice Board.  Our Notice Board is almost always on display in front of the bleachers, so it should be all familiar to your kids...

MOST IMPORTANTLY this Thursday we are gearing up for our annual Alum Challenge!  There will be a Scozzie Squad from 9:00-10:00 and lineups for the Alum match commence at 9:50.  Come and celebrate your Scozzie-ness with your extended Scozzie family!

Squads remain the same every day this week apart from Thanksgiving, as do lesson slots and the SAS.  I will h opefully see everyone on Thursday morning if not before.  For those going off on vacation before then - Happy Thanksgiving from all the coaches!

Baaaaaston Frank Millet JCT : Scozzie Season 7, Chapter 12
The 3rd JCT of 2017/18 season was hosted at Harvard this weekend, as the countries top 32 players made their way east to the land of the Patriots. The Frank Millet JCT in Boston has always been a Scozzie favorite and was notoriously the season opening event in September. This year it was cemented in the middle of the squash calendar, presenting it as a pivotal fixture in many goal setting journals. With almost every top ranked player in attendance, the competition was extremely high, with expectations targeted to match. Could Shaam continue his record breaking unbeaten start to the season and make it 3 for 3 in JCT titles? Could we have our first U19 Champion since Sean broke the record to become the winningest male junior back in 2015? Could the Eagles beat the Cowboys in Sunday Night football to go to a record breaking 9-1?! Read on to hear all about the twists and turns of another Scozzie JCT rollercoaster...
Scozzies Silver - you should play!
"The US Squash certified 'Scozzie Silver 2017' will be hosted at FAC on the first weekend of December!
800 points are on offer for the winner and the tournament should attract all Scozzie's currently ranked outside the top 70.
Furthermore, because the event falls on the first weekend of Phase 2, Scozzie will be specifically targeting preparations for first time participants in a US Squash ranking event. Everyone remembers their first tournament and we want to make sure it's as enjoyable and memorable as possible, whilst preventing any potentially intimidating factors..."
Scozzies of the Week - Shaam and Eric!
Congratulations to Shaam and Eric, our joint winners of "Scozzie of the Week".  Shaam was triumphant in Boston, winning his third consecutive JCT this season and Eric, fresh from his 18th birthday, was a fantastic finalist.  You can read the rest of the story here!
Do you need a coach for the US Open?
A reminder that ONLY 3 Phase members of Scozzie receive complimentary coaching through all Gold and Silver tournaments in Philly as well as JCT's nationwide - one phase members are still able to be coached, but at an additional fee.
