Call your US Representative Today to Help Save
the DOD Breast Cancer Research Program
Now it's time to focus on the House of Representatives to help save the Breast Cancer Research Program.  House of Representatives leaders are now circulating their " Dear Colleague" letter  calling for excluding the language that is harmful to the DOD BCRP and all Congressionally-Directed Medical Research Programs (CDMRPs).

Please see the alert below from the National Breast Cancer Coalition (NBCC) and call your Representative today! Click here for Congressional contact information.

House of Representatives leaders are now circulating their  Dear Colleague letter calling for excluding the language that is harmful to the DOD BCRP and all Concessionally-Directed Medical Research Programs (CDMRPs)!

The bipartisan letter  , led by Representatives Costello (R-PA), King (R-NY), Loebsack (D-IA), and Bishop (D-GA), will be sent to the Chairmen and Ranking Members of the House and Senate Armed Services Committees and requests that the final National Defense Authorizing Act (NDAA) Conference Report legislation excludes the four harmful provisions in the Senate-passed FY2018 NDAA.

Action needed: We need our entire network calling their Representatives to urge them to sign the letter.  These Representatives are the key targets because they signed the FY 2018 DOD BCRP Appropriations letter in support of the DOD Breast Cancer Research Program and therefore should be willing to sign this letter also. Call these members and give them this message:

I urge you to show your support for ending breast cancer by signing onto the Costello/King/Loebsack/Bishop Letter to the House and Senate Armed Services Chairmen and Ranking Members requesting that the final NDAA Conference Report legislation excludes the four provisions in the Senate-passed FY2018 NDAA (Sections 733,891,892, and 893). To sign the letter, please contact Elle Ciapciak in Rep. Costello's office, Deena Tauster in Rep. King's office, Maddie Bushnell in Rep. Loebsack's office or Patrick Newbold in Rep. Bishop's office.

Call your Representative today and be sure to let us know if you get a commitment!

THANK YOU!
