News From The Patch.
Things we need reminding in the patch.

1.) No Hanging Out at the patch.  If you are not on shift working, students do not have permission to "hang out" in the patch.  You could be a distraction to the other workers and thus hurt our customer relationship.

2.) When transporting the rotten pumpkins on to the trailer, please move them to the rear of the trailer (the direction closest to the back, where the truck will hitch it up at.)

3.) Please remember if you are finishing the 4-6 shift, you are responsible for turning on the lights.

4.) Remember, we need to greet and help each customer.  If there lots of customers in the patch, both students shouldn't be helping 1 customer.  Divide and conquer.  We can have a better influence on our guests this way.

5.)  We have started getting busier.  Please make the added efforts take pictures of families for them, and pass out stickers to the little kids.

6.) Our next FULL truck comes at 4pm on October 18th. It is a DOUBLE SHIFT!  Bring your friends and family to help.

7.) Patch Workers should be identifying themselves by wearing the pumpkin aprons.  Also when the patch is slow, put on the costume and go out and wave at passing cars.

8.) New Shifts will be added sometime after the Fall Festival.  Be ready to sign up for more shifts if you have the availability.
Fall Festival Is October 14th
A lot has changed about the fall festival since the last time the newsletter was sent.  On Monday night, the Servant Leaders have decided to make the festival absolutely free to any and all guests.  That's free admissions, free food, free games and prizes.  So, that means we are going to need a lot of help because we expect a lot of guests.  Please consider signing up for a job at the festival by visiting, www.firstchurchpo.org/pumpkinpatch under the Fall Festival Tab.  Again, shifts are only about 2 hours in length.  Work a couple of hours and then play for a couple.  The dunk tank schedule is below.

11:00 - Ryan McDowell - Thrift Boutique Manager
11:30 - Suzi Rodriguez - Children's Minister
12:00 - Tony Sorrell - Youth Minister
12:30 - Valerie Mock - Assistant Pre-School Director
1:00 - Tom Nelson - Senior Pastor
1:30 - Kim Scaccia - Choir Director
2:00 - Timmy Vallieres - Assistant Worship Leader
2:30 - Yazmin Villeda - DerbyShire Director of Programming
