| Hello DCD Parents,
Have you ever walked by someone and know you know them, but can't remember their name? Well, we all have those moments and would love to be able to match names with faces and faces with all our children! We are hoping you can help us with a little project!
With your participation, we are hoping to create a DCD parent "face book." All you need to do is upload a picture of yourself to our Vidigami system, which hopefully you have checked out since it contains pictures of your child(ren)! The photo doesn't have to be anything special; it could just be a "selfie" or an informal headshot. Here are some simple directions for sharing your photo with us. We would like to have all your photos by November 28 so that we may publish the "book" by December 8.
It's quite easy to do, but we've included step by step instructions below!
- Take or find a snapshot of yourself. Please re-name the image file with your first and last name so we can link you with your child.
- Go to the Resource Board on the DCD website
- Click on Vidigami
- In the left-hand navigation column, click on the link to your child's grade
- Navigate to the folder that says "Parent Photo Gr. (and the grade)
- Click on the album and then click on the green upload button (if you are the first to put a photo in the album in your class, the green button will appear in the middle of the screen. If there are photos already there, just click on the green upload cloud in the upper right-hand corner).
- Drag your file into the screen
- Wait for the photo to appear in the uploader then click the big white X in the upper right-hand corner of the screen
- When you click the black back-to-the-album arrow in the upper left-hand corner, you will see you photo in the album.
- If your children span more than one grade, please repeat this for each child.
