THANK YOU TO VETERAN JOHN WELLINGTON
We had a special visit on Veterans Day from John Wellington who was a tank commander in the army.  He shared some of the important things he did to protect our country and also to help people in crisis. He rebuilt schools, protected hospitals and provided rescue and protection during Hurricane Katrina. We are grateful for his service to our country and for sharing some of his experiences with us. He told the children, "You make strong friendships in the military because you don't think of each other as individuals, you learn that together you are stronger than you can ever be alone. One plus one actually equals three."  We were so grateful for his visit.
