Worship This Weekend
FCC Stained Glass

Our "You Asked for It -- Again!" series concludes this Sunday with the topic "The Ten Commandments"  (What are the Ten Commandments and why are they important to us?" Exodus 20:1-17).  Rev. Jim Warren will preach at both services .

The chancel choir is back to weekly rehearsals and will present a very special gift of music at the 9:00 traditional service.   For a different, more progressive experience, come to the One and All service (complete with worship band!).  The coffee will be hot and a fresh, light breakfast will be awaiting you.

A message about Gifts for Another Table:
September is the month we collect items for St. Vincent De Paul.  Non-perishable food items needed include boxed rice dinners, pasta and sauce, potato dinners with sauce, Hamburger Helper, instant mashed potatoes, and canned vegetables and fruit.

Reminders
  Things to Do While
You Are at Church

Bring a travel-size item for Operation Santa (a Disciples Women's effort) for military men and women and leave it near the Information Center.  See The Messenger for details.

Bring your Box Tops for Education for Bent School.  Place them in the Disciples Women's Ministries mailbox near the office and they will be taken to the school by May Jackson.  Thank you!

Check In on Facebook while you are at church.  At the One and All service feel free to use your device for social media, to share photos and thoughts about your worship experience as it happens.

Make a new friend!  Greet a visitor.  Show folks around and help them with questions they might have.  Invite them to worship and/or to share fellowship over a cup of coffee or breakfast treat.  The bulletin is a great source of information for visitors, as is the Information Center.  Let's be a welcoming church!

Where to Park??

Please remember to park, if you are able, in
the Pantagraph lot or in our parking lot catty-corner from the church to the northwest.  This will leave available the north church parking lot for visitors and those who need to park close.

Thank you!

May the love of the Father enfold us,
the wisdom of the Son enlighten us,
the fire of the Spirit inflame us;
and may the blessing of the Triune God rest on us,
and abide with us,
now and evermore.
