History on Display

History was on display Thursday and Friday on the Lake Pointe Campus. Thursday evening, elementary students demonstrated their historical knowledge through poetry, performances, and projects. From ancient times to modern times, the story of history was told through the elementary history classes.
Friday afternoon, secondary students used historical topics as subjects for their Lincoln-Douglas debates. Teams have been working on their debate for the past several weeks, and the hard work showed off on stage.

An opportunity to support a student on mission
LPA senior Madison Carter has been serving for the last year and a half with Little Sparrow Ministries, who ministers one of the nation's poorest counties located in WV. Madison's next trip to Little Sparrow will be to help host a Christmas party where young mothers will hear the gospel and be blessed with baby items for their little ones. If you would like to help support this ministry, Madison has placed a plastic bin in the main lobby to collect diapers and toys for infants to 18 months.
