Sunflower Bakery  combines skills training with actual work experience.  Their mission is to prepare individuals with developmental or other cognitive disabilities for employment in baking and related industries through skilled, on-the-job training.
 
Sunflower Bakery will donate 10% of its sales from this special Thanksgiving partnership with Ivymount. This is a great opportunity to save time, support Ivymount, and also a local business at the same time.

 
The holidays are kicking off early this year with the Washington Hebrew Congregation Boutique at the Bindeman Center in Potomac. If you are planning to attend, make sure to visit the Ivymount table. 

Our students will be helping to sell Ivymount soap and dog biscuits on Monday (11/13) from 9:45-11:30 a.m. and 12:30-2:30 p.m. and  Tuesday (11/14) from 9:45-11:30 a.m. and 12:30-2 p.m.
 
Reminder, our students will also be selling dog biscuits  at Westwood Pet Center on the following dates:  11/17, 12/1, and 12/15 from 10 - 11:15 a.m. The pet center is located at  5428 Westbard Ave, Bethesda, MD.
