Join us for our Annual Community Picnic on 
WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 11, 2017
At Charles Armstrong School from 11:00am-1:00pm

School Foodies will not be delivering lunch on this day.

COMMUNITY PICNIC PARKING INFORMATION
  • Due to the number of cars and available parking spaces,  we encourage you to carpool if possible. 
  • When arriving to campus, traffic monitors will direct you to parking
  • Please be aware that once you park on the Armstrong campus, you will need to stay for the duration of the event (11am-1pm).
  • At the end of the picnic all students must return to their classrooms for regular dismissal. Parents may not sign their kids out directly from the Picnic.

You are required to sign in at Student Services for safety reasons.

exit your car at drop-off only from the passenger side.

Annual Fund: 

This week Armstrong begins its Annual Fund campaign.
We strive for 100% parent participation in the Annual Fund.
 
Annual Fund dollars go directly to support academics, student programs and faculty salaries for the current year.  Every gift counts!
 
Please consider what your family would like to donate to the Armstrong Annual Fund and bring your gift or pledge to Pledge Day at the Community Picnic on October 11, 2017.

Birthday Messages on the Marquee

If you'd like to recognize your Armstrong student on the birthday marquee you can sign up at the Community Picnic.  All messages run for one week and say Happy Birthday First Name and Last Initial, (i.e. Happy Birthday Charlie A).  The cost is $25.  (After the Community Picnic the next opportunity to purchase a birthday message will be in December.) 



Library Corner:

The Armstrong Book Fair is coming up soon!
From Wednesday, October 25 th - Wednesday, October 31 st the entire Multipurpose Room will be transformed into a wonderful bookstore, in partnership with the Book Fair Division of Hicklebee's Books in San Jose. Expect Book Fair packets that will include information about the book fair, book pre-order form and the pre-order payment certificate today.

Please remember to phone in your child's absence to the Attendance Line at 650-592-7570 Option 1 by 9:00am each day your child is absent, going to be late, or out of the classroom for testing or vacation. Please State:
1) Child's Name
2) Child's Classroom
3) Reason for Absence

Lost & Found: 
Please write your child's name
and classroom # on all
sweatshirts and jacket!!
Each week the bin is emptied.
Labeled clothing is washed and
returned to the classrooms.
Clothing that is not labeled is
donated to the Uniform Bank.
