A Sunday of Service
On Sunday the Ekklesia family will gather for a time of worship and study. We will explore the commitment that God gives to all his children who maintain faith in him. After our gathering we will have several opportunities to serve in our community from 1pm till 3pm.

Food Drive for the Helpline Food Bank at Sedgwick Rd. Albertsons.  We will need volunteers to help pass out donation fliers and then receive the donated foods as people leave the store. This is always such a great way of raising food for South Kitsap Helpline Food Bank. In just two hours of work almost 300 lbs of food will be received!

Yard Work at Sandy's-  Workers are also needed to help do yard work at Sandy's home. Sandy lost her husband two years ago to cancer and she has no children to assist her. She is needing help with cleaning up her yard, weed eating, berry vine trimming, and clearing of debris. Please bring work gloves, weed eaters and lopers to cut limbs.

Kaiser Permanente Port Orchard Clinic Built Tiny Cottage #11 Last Saturday, on Sept. 30th

Last Saturday, September 30th around 30 Kaiser Permanente company employees gathered at the back of the clinic and constructed a tiny cottage in their covered loading dock. The cottage is designated as cottage #11 and will soon be moved to a storage parking lot at the First Lutheran Church on Mitchell Rd. We are so thankful to Kaiser for the commitment to help develop our village for Kitsap homeless residents. Kaiser has also committed to building two more cottages in the Spring that will possibly be used in another village in another part of the county.

We also need to say thank you to the Grace Bible Church workers for their hard work and completion of cottages #7, #8 & #9. They are now complete, painted and will remain on display at their church parking lot for a few weeks.
