Wexford News
A NOTE FROM MRS. POWERS

Dear Wexford families,

I am writing for your assistance in a matter of importance. Recently, the teachers and I have found it necessary to speak to some students about the dress code. Eden’s dress code was designed to allow students choices within the limits of modesty and safety and it helps students develop good habits when choosing clothing. Some current fashion trends do not align with our dress code.

Please review Eden’s dress code with your child with special attention to the following:
  • Students wearing yoga pants, tights, or form fitting shorts or pants must wear a shirt or dress that covers to mid-thigh (the shirt or dress needs to cover their bottom).
  • Shorts and dresses must be no shorter than 2 inches above the knee.
  • Students wearing tank tops or string tops must wear a sweater or jacket over the shirt.
  • Shoes or sandals must have a secured heal. Flip flops may only be worn on Beach Day or Flip Flop day.

Your attention is greatly appreciated as we work together to develop and educate the minds and hearts of children.

Thank you for your assistance,
Carrie A. Powers
Wexford Campus Principal

WEXFORD FAMILIES BLESS CHILDREN IN HONDURAS
The King family shared photos from their recent trip to Honduras. Heidi King said, "We are so grateful and blessed by our Eden family giving to those kiddos in ways we may never comprehend. We were able to bless them with 31 sets of sheets, 26 pairs of crocs, bubbles, bouncy balls, puzzles, crayons, books, candy, and other toys. God is so good!"
