Please bring your gently used school clothing for the children at the Holy Rosary site of Loaves and Fishes the weekend of...
October 7th and 8th after all Masses .  
We will distribute them at Holy Rosary Church in SE Mpls. on the following Tuesday, October 10th   
**There will be a gently used blanket and winter clothing drive January 6th & 7th, 2018.

Please join us tonight for our Parish Commission Night

Commission Night - Thursday, Oct. 5th-Mass is at 5:30pm

Do you wonder what the St. Joe's commission structure is all  about? Interested parishioners are welcome to join us for any or all of the evening to learn about our six commissions - Administration, Lifelong Faith Formation, Parish Life, Pastoral Care/Outreach, School and Worship.  We begin each first Thursday of the month with Mass at 5:30 pm followed by a light supper at 6:00 pm.  We move on to a large group meeting at 6:30 pm prior to the commissions breaking out into their individual groups from 7:00 - 8:30 pm.  You are welcome to join us for any part of the evening to learn more!  To RSVP (preferred but drop ins are welcome) or for additional information, contact Lori Hannasch at lhannasch@charter.net.

Blessing of the Animals

We invite you to gather with us on Saturday, October 7th, at 10:00 am.   We'll remember not only the care of all creatures at our Blessing of the Animals (the first Saturday of October), but your pet will be blessed individually as well.  Please gather at the front School entrance by 10am. 

"Rosary for All"
and Social Hour

When :   Saturday, October 7th, 2017 at 6pm.
Where: Meet in St. Joseph gather space
Who: ALL ages welcome
What: We will pray those with health issues, struggling families, Confirmation students, and the strength to live our Faith. Following the Rosary you are invited to stay for a social hour with snacks, craft projects and games. 
No experience necessary!
Rosaries and pamphlets on "How to pray the rosary"  will be available.

40 Days for Life Campaign

St. Joseph's will be participating in the (fall) 40 days For Life Campaign on 
Fri. October 13, & Sat. October 14.
All are invited to stand and peacefully pray for an end to abortion at the Planned Parenthood facility, 675 Vandalia St., St. Paul. The hours are 6 AM to 6 PM, with participants taking a 1 hour time. If unable to attend, please consider fasting and/or praying at your convenience during these important 40 Days. We will have sign-ups on after Mass on  October 7 & 8.

Calling all Men and your teen sons/grandson to join us the first Tuesday of each month beginning Tuesday October 10th from 7-9pm in  the Social Hall.  Snacks and beverages included and ending with Eucharistic Adoration in the Worship Space.  

St. Joseph Youth Choir


For many years, St. Joseph's has had the tradition of a Youth led Choir once a month during the school year.  
We are proud to continue that tradition this year with a modified schedule.   Our first rehearsal will be Thursday, Oct. 12th from 5:00 to 6:00 PM in the church and we will sing the following Sunday, Oct. 15th
The Youth Choir sings at the 8:30 Sunday Mass and the Children's Mass at 4:00 PM on Christmas Eve.  The rest of the fall schedule will be provided at the first rehearsal.   All students from 3rd to 8th grade are invited to become a part of this wonderful music ministry!

In honor of the Centennial of Our Lady of Fatima, please join us in praying a rosary for our country.  We will gather at the Cross of St. Joseph Cemetery on Hwy 3 at noon on Saturday, October 14th.  Bring rosaries if you have them; extra will be available.  All are welcome. American Heritage Girls

Troop MN2016 will be raking leaves on October 20, 2017 for a service project.
(weather permitting)

We are hoping to rake leaves for people who cannot do this themselves. Also, we are looking for homes that are in Rosemount and are "walkable" from the library area.
