3 Years with Jesus: Stories Jesus Told

Our first series in our journey through 3 Years with Jesus will focus on stories Jesus told. Jesus understood that stories spoke to the heart and Jesus often spoke in parables to share the good news of the kingdom. Join us as we explore some of these stories together and see the whole schedule for 3 Years with Jesus  here.

Urgent Marin Foster Care Family Need

A newly licensed foster family just got placed  4 siblings (all girls) in their home and they are busy caring for the girls while trying to get everything together the girls need/want. As you can imagine, they are a bit overwhelmed and could really use some community support. There are some tangible items their girls are in need of (and some items the girls 'wish' for) so the foster mom has created an Amazon Wishlist to make it really easy for others to help.

Please consider buying an item off of the Wishlist for these amazing girls.

(The item(s) will be shipped directly to them! Or if you want to buy an item somewhere else please contact Ashley

Life Story Workshop

We all have a story and our stories matter. Life is story and when we wake up more and more to our story and the connection our story has to God's story and the stories of others, powerful and transformative things happen. Join us as we explore our stories in this Life Story Workshop led by Dave Robinson on Saturday, November 4 from 10am-5pm at the Cedar House (1637 5th Ave., San Rafael, CA 94901). Cost is $35 per individual and $50 per couple. Lunch is not provided but you can bring your own or there are plenty of good restaurants nearby. See  Dave Robinson or visit  Creative Interface  for information and to sign up.
Hurricane Harvey Relief

In the wake of Hurricane Harvey, people across the greater Houston area have lost much and have a long road to recovery and rebuilding. Our Student Pastor's family (parents, siblings, grandparents) live in the Houston area and have sustained significant damages from the flooding. Bay Marin has set up a fund to aid in the relief efforts for Bryan's family. If you would like to give, you can make a check payable to Bay Marin with "Harvey Relief" in the memo line. Or you can give online  here and select the "Hurricane Relief" option. Any extra contributions will be given to a local organization serving on the ground.

Bay Marin is planning a Harvey Relief Trip the week following Thanksgiving, Nov 26-30. More info will be forthcoming as we continue to work out details. If you are interested in serving with Bay Marin, please let  Bryan know.

3 Years with Jesus

We are excited to share with you a vision for our community for the next three years to journey through the gospels together; exploring the life of Jesus and what it looks like for us to live in union with Christ and embracing the way of life Jesus has invited us into. We're calling it "3 Years with Jesus." The texts we will explore are based off of a Children's Curriculum that runs for three years. Our Student Ministries will be exploring these same texts and our Children's Ministry will engage these texts as well for a few months to see if it will align well with what they are hoping to accomplish. It is our hope that this will not just be a Sunday morning experience but will infiltrate our lives in the day to day activities of life - from reflecting on these texts alone throughout the day to conversing about them as friends, families and communities doing life together. The "teacher guide" for Year one of the curriculum I mentioned above can be found  here.

If you are a parent of children up through the 5 th  grade, we encourage you to purchase this book and engage these lessons together with your children. Whether you have young children or not, we encourage you to read the weekly gospel text together regularly throughout the week and talk about what God is saying to each of you, ask questions, and dig deep into these stories and teachings of Jesus and ask questions in your families and friendships on how it is shaping and forming you personally and in your different regular activities throughout the week. We will be writing weekly discussion questions that can be used in faith communities and families alike. We are thrilled to be on this journey together!

A place to gather women and share a simple meal and dive deep with people over real stories and Christ centered conversations. A time for a whole lot of laughter - and maybe a few tears - but time spent that leaves us with glad, full, and grateful hearts.
Prayer Requests

At BayMarin, prayer is a vital part of community life. We have three different teams of people who pray for the prayer requests that are submitted. Please share your prayer request with us  here.
Faith Community Opportunities

Our Faith Communities are our small groups - where church really happens as people live life together on a regular basis. We are looking for folks who would be willing to help lead and or host a Faith Community. If you are interested in learning more or joining a Faith Community, please contact Bryan.
Sunday Morning Prayer

We hope you will join us for Sunday morning prayer at 9:30am in the balcony of the auditorium.
