Our UMW wants to express a great big THANK YOU to our members and the congregation for all of your support last week as we once again held a successful Bazaar.  Final totals are not in but we cleared around $5500.  All of this will go to help people in need, near and far.

Guest Musicians

Jean & Jim Holmes will present music at the 8:15 a.m. service on November 19.  They were college classmates of Rev. Allen Webner.  Jean was a piano major and Jim was an oboe major.

UMW Candy

The UMW have some of their wonderful fudge left from the Bazaar!  If you would like to purchase some of it, please see Mona on Sunday or call her at 217-235-6462.

On Sunday, November 19 at 3:00 p.m., Trinity Episcopal Church at 2200 Western Ave. in Mattoon, will hold their final Centennial Organ Recital.  It will feature Ron Krebs, VP of Reuter Organ Company.  November 19 marks the 100 year and 1 day anniversary of the Reuter Organ at the church.

Keeping Up With Jordan and Mike

Pastor Mike did the funeral for Russell Lang, father of Lorraine Malmborg, on Thursday.  He is slowly getting back to work after having hand surgery on Tuesday.

Jordan is overseeing the second quarter module for Downtown Kids.  He is also looking ahead to the next Bible Study series for the High School kids. Jordan is beginning the planning process of the experimental month for the Contemporary Worship service for January 2018.
