UPC's 2018 Stewardship Campaign: If you weren't able to pick up your Stewardship packet after church in the last week or two, rest assured it is on its way to you in the mail. As you consider your pledge, think beyond bill-paying to investing in God's grace extending into our community and the world. Stewardship season will culminate on Sunday, October 22, when we gather for our annual Dedication Sunday worship services. With God's power within us, we can accomplish
more than we can imagine!
UPC joins the many eager to offer prayers and resources to those affected by the recent hurricanes.
Presbyterian Disaster Assistance
is our denomination's outstanding emergency response organization, committed to long-term recovery. PDA has been in touch with partners in the midst of the storms to organize relief. Monetary donations are most needed at this time. If you would like to contribute to relief efforts for those impacted, please make checks out to the church with "Hurricane relief" in the memo line. Thank you.

We Choose Welcome:
Click here to sign up for the Refugee Support Team, a list of volunteers to perform discreet jobs on an as-needed basis (e.g., providing transportation to a doctor's appointment). The team will support the activities of
Refugee Community Partnership (RCP), a local refugee support organization.
Advent Craft Festival: Sunday, November, 19, 9:45-10:45 a.m.; if you would like to help us plan one of the crafts for the festival, donate supplies, or volunteer at one of the craft tables on the day of the festival, please contact Nancy Myer (

PYC Small Groups Sign Up:
Youth can sign up online for the small group they are most interested in joining this year. All youth should sign up by this Sunday, October 8.
Appalachia Service Project: July 8-14, 2018; ASP forms and an initial deposit of $150 due Sunday, October 15 (
total cost is $385; must be 14 years old by July 1).
