What are the motivations for discussing the topic of demonstrations? What are the challenges of representing protest histories' intangible heritage, preformative nuances and multiple voices? Join exhibition co-curators Viviane Gosselin and Kate Bird on an intimate tour of City on Edge: A Century of Vancouver Activism, where they will answer these questions and more.

Anna Baignoche, Album Release Concert

Local musician Anna Baignoche  releases her first album in several years with a live concert at MOV.  Becoming  is an ambitious project and seven years in the making. The recording plays to multiple themes and genres close to the artist; an amalgam of acoustic and electronic music, dirt and wires, paint over a photograph, love over hate, pure joy and deep sorrow. Baignoche and her band will be performing songs from Becoming, live for the first time, in our intimate 200 seat theatre.  Learn More

Quebec-based Wapikoni's Indigenous youth film and music production collective is bringing a travelling audio-visual production studio to Vancouver for the first time! Join us for a special screening of documentary and performance based short films produced by indigenous youth and young adults developed from Wapikoni's multi media training workshops. Learn More
