Safety Week is a week dedicated to provide the students safety education.
Safety Week will occur this year on October 16th-20th. For more details please refer to the emailed letter from Miss Tavaglione sent on 10/5.
Monday 10/16 :
Making Good Choices is No Sweat-wear sweats
Tuesday 10/17:
Making Bad Choices is Backwards-wear your clothing inside out/backwards
Wednesday 10/18:
Put bad choices to bed-wear pajamas
Thursday 10/19:
Say BOO to bad choices-wear black and orange clothing
Friday 10/20
:
KRS kids make safe choices-wear Madison/KRS clothes

Screenagers: Growing up in a Digital Age
This is a family event, the movie is appropriate for full families (recommended for ages 10 and up). Everyone is invited and admission is free!!! Screenagers is an award-winning documentary produced by Delaney Ruston, a Stanford trained physician and mother of two. The documentary tackles the very real issues facing families regarding technology. The brief (1 hour and 7 minute) documentary will be followed by a student panel discussion and Q and A.
Please come, bring your families, and lets come together to discuss the challenges and opportunities of raising children in today's world. Admission is free.

Green Tip of the week:
Use Natural Decorations for the fall. Decorating with locally-grown gourds and pumpkins are a great way to reduce waste and carbon emissions. Compost gourds and pumpkins after the holiday. You can also use tree branches from your yard. Pinterest has beautiful ideas.
