UBCM has secured a hotel block for our next Convention in Whistler, September 10-14, 2018. The hotel block will open on Monday, October 16, 2017 at 9 am. The list of hotels that included in the block will be made available in the Compass next week.  

The Passenger Transportation Board has released its report, Wheelchair Accessible Transportation in BC: Update 2017. The report reviews progress made on accessibility over the last 5 years and points to areas for further improvement. Local governments interested in the accessibility of commercial passenger transportation (taxis in particular) are encouraged to review the report. Read more
