Guests received a copy of the book Letters to a Young Farmer: On Food, Farming and Our Future and the event was co-sponsored by Berkshire Agricultural Ventures, Elisa Spungen Bildner and Rob Bildner, Laurily Epstein, Harold Grinspoon and Diane Troderman, and Liz and Jerry Hellman.

If you haven't seen
Forgotten Farms, make sure to get to the Great Barrington Mason Library on Saturday, September 9. The documentary tells the story of farmers largely left out of the local food movement - dairy farmers.
This program is free, open to the public, and is followed by a "talkback" with the filmakers and a dairy farmer.
