Happy October! There is so much to love about fall, even in Florida. The excitement of a new season brings an anticipation of cooler temperatures, all things pumpkin flavored, and of course the Florida Art Education Association Conference. We are thrilled to host our members at the
2017 FAEA Annual Conference
, October 19-22, 2017 in St. Petersburg.
The FAEA Professional Development Committee, chaired by President-Elect Lark Keeler, are working to ensure all the final details are in place.

! While registering, be sure to purchase raffle tickets for your chance to win fabulous prizes! Grand Prizes include a Wyland Lithograph, Disney World passes, Sunset World Vacation Trip and much more! It's also not too late to purchase your Gala ticket. Join us as we close the conference out in super hero style Saturday night!
If you register for a paid workshop, we will print your workshop numbers on your badge in lieu of separate tickets. This was a huge success last year and environmentally responsible. The Florida Art Education Association is now using badges made of recycled materials. Be on the lookout for recycled boxes for your badge holder at the conclusion of this year’s conference. Thank you for keeping our association eco-friendly.
If you miss pre-registration, you can still register onsite at conference.
Registration will open at 8:00 am on Thursday, October 19th
and we have numerous volunteers lined up so you can attend workshops when they start at 8:30 am.

! Now is the time to elect the 2018-2019 Florida Art Education Association Board of Directors.
Voting will close at 3:00pm on October 20th
. The elected board will be announced at the second General Session of conference.
