Cleveland Clinic Florida Honors DAISY Award Winners for Exceptional Nursing

Nov. 9, 2017 - Four
Cleveland Clinic Florida nurses were recognized this year with the DAISY Award for their exceptional, compassionate and skillful care. DAISY honorees include
Abbee Taddesse, RN; Andrea Buchman Kissane, LPN; Lourdes Wilson, RN; and
Nicole Thebeau, RN. "These nurses consistently deliver excellence through their clinical expertise and compassionate care, and provide a great patient experience," said
Kerry Major, MSN, RN, Chief Nursing Officer at Cleveland Clinic Florida. "They are recognized as outstanding role models in our nursing community and we are proud to have them on the Cleveland Clinic Florida team."
Mayor's Health Challenge Launched
Florida Medical Center and the
City of Lauderdale Lakes held the first monthly weigh-in of the
Mayor's Health Challenge.
Mayor Hazelle Rogers and members of the Lauderdale Lakes community came to FMC to be weighed in. The Mayor's Challenge is free and open to all residents of Lauderdale Lakes and employees of Florida Medical Center. The purpose of this challenge is to generate excitement regarding and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. There will be monthly weigh-ins held in the main lobby at FMC to track the progress of those participating in the challenge. For more information, or to join the challenge, call 954-535-2785.
