November 10, 2017

Governor Hogan announced his plans to revise the state development plan during MACo's Summer Conference. The new approach, styled "A Better Maryland," will replace the PlanMaryland framework adopted in 2011. The Governor and Department of Planning have affirmed that the new plan will be developed "from the bottom up" incorporating local input and planning designations. The input has already started, with more sessions ahead. And a workshop on this effort will be part of the Winter #MACoCon agenda... of course!
