The Vestry of St. James cordially invites you to a Festal Choral Eucharist and Celebration on Sunday, October 29th beginning at 5:00pm.

We will celebrate the Future of St. James as we gather as a community for Holy Eucharist, the blessing of our pledges and a wine and pot-luck dinner prepared and hosted by our Vestry immediately following the service in the Parish Hall.

We look forward to welcoming everyone to our Future together.  Morning Services are cancelled this day.

The Feast of St. Francis of Assisi
(The Blessing of the Animals)
Sunday, October 8th at 4:00pm

We will celebrate the Feast of St. Francis on Sunday, October 8th at 4:00pm in the Sanctuary.  Bring your pets, their pictures or your stuffed, furred, feathered or scaly friends to the 10:00am service for their annual Blessing!

This is a special service for our animals to come to church for their blessing.  We will have special prayers for our furred and non-furred friends and then you will be invited to bring your family members forward to the Altar Steps for a Blessing.  The children are welcome to come forward so they can have a great view of all our pets.  The service will not be long and will be a perfect opportunity to spend a part of our Sunday basking in the variety of God's creation with those who are our pets as well as our friends!

Donations will be accepted on behalf of the MSPCA, Nevins Farm in Methuen and for the Merrimack Valley Feline Rescue Society in Amesbury.  Donations of new toys, healthy treats, food, blankets or towels are always in need.

We hope you can join us to celebrate in this happy heartfelt service.
