Introducing Richmond's own
ECE JOB POSTING PAGE (online)
Need to hire staff? Looking to work as an ECE?
We're excited to announce the launch of a new CCRR service - an online  jobs posting page on our website! The CCRR has long offered an in-office Job Book service containing postings for ECE-related jobs for the Richmond area, and we've now expanded on this service by adding a special online component for a nominal fee.

For the next three months we will be running a trial-period of this service at a discounted rate of $5/listing. After this time, the cost will slightly increase with exception to the job book which will remain a free service. All jobs will be posted for 30 days and must be approved by CCRR staff. As a brand new member perk, CCRR members will be able to submit FREE postings - both online and in our job book.
Are you looking for work as a substitute or know someone who is?
At the CCRR, we maintain an up-to-date Substitute List that is frequently requested by
0-3 and 3-5 child care centres. Come to our office or email  [email protected] and register as an available substitute. Your information will be kept on file for 4 months unless otherwise notified.

RICHMOND CHRISTMAS FUND

As child care workers, we all come across families who would benefit from some help during the holidays. Many Richmond residents, and some of them our clients, simply do not have the financial means to prepare a festive meal -let alone purchase gifts. This is where the Richmond Christmas Fund comes in.

Each year, the Christmas Fund distributes grocery vouchers to individuals and families in need. Those with children 12 and under can also choose presents such as toys and books, while teenagers receive gift cards.

Last year the Christmas Fund was able to help out over 1700 people, and with your participation we can help even more this year. If you know of families in need, this brochure is easy to print and circulate amongst your clients and friends.
You can make someone's holiday magical.
Have Your Say:
Early Learning Lending Library Changes

As you may recall, over the summer we started the long process of overhauling our resource library... starting with our activity boxes and even last month introducing a new kit for you to use!

Well, besides our ideas for where we want to take the library, we want to know what YOU think. As active users of the library, you know best what you like and dislike, which are your favourite resources to borrow, and your thoughts on resources you'd like to see introduced.

Share your opinions by filling out this easy survey. It takes less than five minutes, and you'll greatly help  us out by telling us what changes you'd like to see. All feedback is welcome!
The CCRR is now a part of the Richmond Early Years Centre.  For more information go t o   www.richmondkids.ca
