Come join us in the Sukkah!
Sukkot comes in this Wednesday night. I keep the frame of my sukkah all year so I can just throw a top and sides on and decorate. Otherwise it just does not go up every year-as the fall is a busy time for all.
Sukkot is my favorite Jewish holy day. I love the fall. Sweater weather. Pumpkin everything. The crispness. And Sukkot is a celebration of everything fall. Even if you do not get to put up a sukkah at home use this time to celebrate the season with your friends and family. Go pumpkin picking. Make a soup and share it with friends. Go for a hike and enjoy the foliage. Relish in this season of harvest and bounty. And also check out our Kol Ami Sukkot events.
Kol Ami has a brand new sukkah this year and it is big enough to sit lots of people for a meal.
Thursday!
Join me in the sukkah for senior Shmooz. I am making special cookies from a new Jewish baking book I bought.
Friday!
Come check it out this Friday night. I sent you an evite to a dinner I am making-a PNW fall harvest dinner with a vegetarian and Sephardic twist.
Saturday!
You can also join us this Saturday at 10:30am for a family Sukkot event. Come build mini-sukkah, decorate, wave the lulav, smell the etrog and connect.
Sukkot is a time of in gathering- of the harvest, of friends and family, of warmth and shelter. I look forward to celebrating with you. Please contact me if you have any questions about any of our programs or services.
Many blessings, Chang Sameach, Happy Fall
