Memorare

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection,
implored your help, or sought your intercession was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly to you, O Virgin of virgins, my mother; to you I come,
before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions,
but in your mercy hear and answer me. Amen
The students pray this prayer each and every morning.

MBS Car Raffle Benefiting the Technology Development Fund of MBS

Through the kindness and generosity of Jim's Berlin Chevy, Berlin Jeep and Ram, and Holly KIA, MBS is raffling off a 2018 Chevrolet Spark or $10,000 CASH. In last week's Thursday folders each family received 15 tickets to sell for this fundraiser. Each month the MBS family who sells the most tickets for that month will have their family name put into a TOP SELLERS RAFFLE, which will give them a one in seven chance to win $500 CASH and a Nintendo Switch console!  Proceeds benefit the technology development fund of MBS, which will allow MBS to purchase tablets (iPads and Microsoft Surface Pro tablets) for third through eighth grades. Tickets are $10.00 each, 6 for $50.00 or 13 for $100.00. Tickets are available in the school office as well as on our website at www.mostblessedsacramentschool.com.

The colder weather is here! We would like to remind parents that on days when the temperature is lower than 45 degrees, children must have a coat or sweatshirt in order to go outside for recess. Please be sure that children are dressed for cold weather each day. REMINDER: Children should be dressed appropriately for the Soccer Shoot Out scheduled for tomorrow, Friday, November 10!

MIDDLE SCHOOL ACTIVITY PERIOD
On every other Wednesday, our middle school students participate in Middle School activity period. During this period, students in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade attend an activity class that is designed to extend our curricula. Students choose, on a trimester basis, to attend one of the following: Sewing, cooking, chess, dance, logic and puzzles, golf, garden club, coding and power walking. Our garden club has done a fantastic job with planting and tending an organic garden. In the photos below, members of the garden club work in the garden. Our students have already enjoyed fresh picked bok choy from the garden. Many thanks to Alan and Kristin Hudson for coordinating the MBS garden club.

We had a special library class with our oldest students in MBS and our youngest students last week.  Our PreK 3 students came down to join our 8 th grade class to read Dr. Seuss books.  All of our students had a wonderful time & it was very special to see the kindness, gentleness & consideration of our older students towards our three year olds.

Vision Statement

Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic School provides rigorous and technologically relevant instruction that is intentionally integrated with Catholic identity.  Together, as Pastors, administrators, teachers and parents, we nurture the development of the mind, the body, and the soul, in each of our students.  Our students are able to make sound decisions based upon the teachings of Jesus Christ and modeled upon the lives of the saints.  As a faith and learning community, we teach students a passion for the truth and a love for discovery and knowledge. Our students are prepared to relate their Catholic faith to their culture and actively live their faith as members of the greater community.
