Revenue Workshop Gets You 8 MSRs for Just $40

We have a  great opportunity  for you to discover what other professionals from around the country have described as, " One of the best workshops ever! "

The Colorado PGA is looking for the best of the best to attend a 1-day PGA Revenue Workshop hosted by The Golf Club at Bear Dance. This session is open to PGA Members and Apprentices, LPGA Members and Apprentices, as well as non-affiliated golf industry professionals. This will be an intense, interactive and engaging workshop designed for those who are ready to stand apart from their peers and make a real and lasting impact on the growth of the game of golf. 

This  Revenue Workshop  will be presented by Ted Eleftheriou, PGA member and Director of Golf Program Development for The PGA of America. 

How Player Development Programs Can Impact Your Business
will be held on Thursday, November 16, 2017, at The Golf Club at Bear Dance. Participants will receive eight (8) MSR Points for the low price of $40. Breakfast and lunch are included in your registration fee.

Four Coloradans Participating in Assistant PGA Professional Championship

Good luck to Brandon Bingaman, Ben Lanting, Jack Allen and Pat Grady as they compete in the 2017 National Car Rental Assistant PGA Professional Championship at PGA Golf Club -  Wanamaker Course, in Port St. Lucie, Florida. 

This is 72 holes of stroke play. Following the first 36 holes, the field will be reduced to the lowest 70 scores and ties. A purse of $133,000 will be distributed with a first-place check of $12,000 and a spot in the 2018 PGA Professional Championship.

PGA of America Extends Contract of CEO Pete Bevacqua Through 2024

The PGA of America last week announced the extension of CEO Pete Bevacqua's contract through December 2024. Bevacqua has served as CEO since November 2012, and his current contract was set to expire at the end of 2021. The PGA Board of Directors approved the extension at the 101st PGA Annual Meeting in Austin, Texas.

Olympic Officially Announced as PGA, Ryder Venue

The PGA of America officially introduced The Olympic Club in San Francisco as the future site of the 2028 PGA Championship and 2032 Ryder Cup.
 
The announcement confirmed a report last week from the San Francisco Chronicle noting that the club, which has hosted the U.S. Open five times including 2012, has shifted allegiances from the USGA to the PGA of America.

Registration is Open for the 2018 PGA Winter Championships

Registration for the 2018 PGA Winter Championships is now open. Six competitive Championships have been scheduled for January/February at PGA Golf Club in Port St. Lucie, Florida. Entry is on a first-come, first-entered basis. If an event becomes full before the deadline date, a waitlist will be established.

PGA and LPGA members, golf buyers and industry professionals can now register to attend the 65th PGA Merchandise Show, January 23-26, 2018, in Orlando. Exhibitor and media registration will open later this month.
