Mark Scandrette
On November 12, Mark will be our guest teacher and will hold an afternoon learning opportunity connected to our 3 Years with Jesus series where he will introduce us to ways of living into and practicing the way of Jesus in our everyday lives. Mark is an author and speaker who specializes in practice based faith in our day to day lives. The afternoon session will be at 12pm. Please bring your own lunch.

Operation Christmas Child
You already know that Operation Christmas Child is your chance to bless a precious little one who will never be able to thank you back, but did you also know that c
hurches around the world hand out these shoebox gifts at festive outreach events where the Good News is clearly presented? Along with your
gifts, they offer Gospel booklets called
The Greatest Gift
to help shoebox recipients learn about God's Greatest Gift, His Son, Jesus Christ. But it doesn't stop there.....
After receiving a shoebox gift, children have the opportunity to enroll in a 12-lesson follow-up discipleship program, The Greatest Journey. As a result of what they learn, boys and girls grow in Christ and share Him with others. Families are reached and lives are transformed.
To be part of this great outreach, please fill and bring back your box and $9 for shipping on or before November 19. A plastic box is a good touch so the child can reuse it.

Story Telling & Poetry Event

Several writers from our Storyline writers workshops will be presenting their original works, along with our featured presenter, Kate Peper. 3 Years with Jesus: Miracles Jesus Did
As we continue our teaching arc of 3 Years
with
Jesus, our second mini-series focuses on miracles Jesus did. We will explore these texts and how they reveal; Jesus' Messiahship as well as the Kingdom movement of God and how God is inviting us to join in on that Kingdom movement to bring God's hope, healing, and love into our world. 3 Years with Jesus
We are excited to share with you a vision for our community for the next three years to journey through the gospels together; exploring the life of Jesus and what it looks like for us to live in union with Christ and embracing the way of life Jesus has invited us into. We're calling it "3 Years with Jesus." The texts we will explore are based off of a Children's Curriculum that runs for three years. Our Student Ministries will be exploring these same texts and our Children's Ministry will engage these texts as well for a few months to see if it will align well with what they are hoping to accomplish. It is our hope that this will not just be a Sunday morning experience but will infiltrate our lives in the day to day activities of life - from reflecting on these texts alone throughout the day to conversing about them as friends, families and communities doing life together. The "teacher guide" for Year one of the curriculum I mentioned above can be found

If you are a parent of children up through the 5
th
grade, we encourage you to purchase this book and engage these lessons together with your children. Whether you have young children or not, we encourage you to read the weekly gospel text together regularly throughout the week and talk about what God is saying to each of you, ask questions, and dig deep into these stories and teachings of Jesus and ask questions in your families and friendships on how it is shaping and forming you personally and in your different regular activities throughout the week. We will be writing weekly discussion questions that can be used in faith communities and families alike. We are thrilled to be on this journey together!

A place to gather women and share a simple meal and dive deep with people over real stories and Christ centered conversations. A time for a whole lot of laughter - and maybe a few tears - but time spent that leaves us with glad, full, and grateful hearts.
