Thanks to everyone who attended the 6th Annual Fork It Over on September 16 at Oxbow Public Market. Together we raised $100,000 to support the Community Action of Napa Valley (CANV) Food Bank.

Come see the spectacle of butchery and observe the artistry of the blade practiced in front of your very eyes! Gather in front of the meat case at The Fatted Calf on the first Thursday of every month and taste local brews and wines, sample a selection of meaty treats, and cherry pick the perfect cut of pastured perfection while watching a few beasts be expertly butchered.

Napa High's Vocal Music Workshop will perform throughout Oxbow Public Market this Thursday evening. One of the premier performing groups at Napa High School, the vocal music workshop is comprised of mostly juniors and seniors, and has evolved into a 15-member a cappella sensation, exploring the music of all genres and time periods.

Linked, coiled, emulsified and smoked. If you are a sausage enthusiast yearning to expand your knowledge, Sausage 101 will cover a variety of grinding, casing, and cooking methods to make you sausage savvy. Class begins with a snack and a short discussion on the topics of the day and ends with lunch. Plus, everyone gets to take home a goody bag of the sausages you helped prepare. Cost is $225/person. Though the weather is unseasonably warm, it is officially fall, which means it's pumpkin and squash time at Hudson Greens & Goods. Many beautiful varieties are starting to arrive including Pink Banana, Blue Hubbard, and Delicata, with more are on the way. If you haven't seen the giant pumpkin on display, stop by to check it out!  Grown at Hudson Ranch by production manager and master pumpkin grower Leonardo Urena, it weighs 1,033l bs. and won the prize for prettiest pumpkin at the 2017 Heirloom Expo.

They are dreaming up a delicious Katz honey-glazed ham, mulling over wild mushrooms for roasts and pâtés, and preparing for the arrival of succulent heritage turkeys from Good Shepherd Ranch. Turkeys are available by pre-order in a variety of sizes between 8 and 22 lbs. and are priced at $8.75/lb.
