Parent Referral Program
If you know a friend, family member or anyone looking for a high-quality, Christ-centered education for their children who do not already attend a Catholic school, you could receive a $50 credit toward your child's tuition at York Catholic, with a chance to win a $500 credit.

York Catholic's Parent Referral Program is a win-win for everyone involved. Referred students receive an outstanding education from York Catholic, while parents of the referred families get peace of mind knowing their child is gaining so much more than just a top-notch education.  Families who refer someone who registers at York Catholic receive a $50 credit towards their child's tuition.

You, as parents, are our best ambassadors.   In order for the Parent Referral Program to be a success, we need information about individuals who may be interested in joining the York Catholic family. All you need to do is click here to fill out the form.

Quick Links

During the registration process, if you are listed as the referring individual for a friend or other enrolling individual, we will credit your child 's account with $50.  In May, one family who referred someone who enrolled at YC will be randomly selected to win a $500 tuition credit.

It really is that simple. So go ahead. Please click on the link above and allow us the opportunity to do what we love - help to develop, nurture and encourage children so they may grow in faith, mind, and heart. Mail or email the form to us and we will take it from there!

Thank you for all you do for our school!

Send videos to [email protected] by November 15. Thanks for your help!
Be a Part of #GivingTuesday
York Catholic will be participating in this year's #GivingTuesday on November 28!  In case you haven't heard, the goal of #GivingTuesday is to create a global day of giving back, which celebrates generosity and kindness. Our YC students collect toys for the Ronald McDonald House each year as a way to give back to the community.  We Believe you support the pillar of service our students are learning and living.

York Catholic has a goal of raising $15,000 and we really hope you'll be a part of reaching that goal!  Please give or give again.  All gifts are appreciated no matter the amount.  All of the donations received will go towards the 2017-2018 York Catholic Fund.

We hope you're able to join the millions who are making #GivingTuesday the huge success that it is nationwide!

Thanksgiving Food Drive
We are thankful for many things at York Catholic.  Our students are also very generous when it comes to helping others.   To date, students have collected over $1,700 to support Hurricane Relief and the Pregnancy & Family Resource Center.  The November mission collection will be our annual food contribution to the Catholic Harvest Food Pantry.   Each homeroom is asked to donate a turkey and canned goods for a Thanksgiving dinner to the Food Pantry.

This year, the Food Pantry will be partnering with LifePath Ministries to provide 1,700 dinners to our community.  Turkeys of all sizes are needed, as are gift cards to various grocery stores.  A list of suggested food items for a Thanksgiving dinner is given below.  Items should be stored in each homeroom until the pick-up date on Friday, November 10.  Please do not send turkeys to school prior to that date.

Suggestions for donated items for a Thanksgiving dinner:
            turkey gravy
            boxed stuffing
            instant mashed potatoes
            boxed desserts
canned vegetables:  peas, carrots, corn, green beans, sweet potatoes
            cranberry sauce
            canned fruit
            Jell-o

Thank you for helping to make a family's Thanksgiving dinner a special one this year.
PA Education Savings Account
A message from the Pennsylvania Catholic Conference:

Pennsylvania Senators are in a position to vote on legislation that could expand school choice opportunities for students across the Commonwealth. As it stands, the Senate Education Committee is currently considering a bill known as the Education Savings Account plan. Senate Bill 2 would help protect the most vulnerable children among us by focusing the savings accounts on the lowest-performing school districts in the state. You have supported efforts to expand school choice in the past and realize what supporting this effort means to students and their families.  NOW is the time to urge Senators to do the same!  Let our legislators hear your voice - Please use the link below:
