This week, we share initial analyses of community input provided at the CMP Kick-off Presentation held Oct. 23, attended by approx. 250 people, and from a survey about preservation and change circulated Oct. 24 - Nov. 1 that received over 800 responses.

When asked to identify areas that should be preserved (green dots), enhanced (yellow dots), or transformed (red dots), people who participated in the kick-off activities gave this composite response

Survey respondents named "Golf" as the top aspect of the Village to remain the same, followed by "Community" and "Gated."  The top aspect to change noted by respondents was "Village," followed by "Gate" and "Golf." Finally, survey respondents indicated "Safe" to be the top desired future quality of the Village, followed by "Growing" and "Friendly."

These word cloud graphics depict the responses received most often to each of these questions in the largest text size, with smaller text size indicating responses provided less often.  These charts offer another way to view a compilation of responses to the survey questions.
Make plans to participate in the public charrette activities, to help shape the future of the Village.
