Bricks 4 Kidz STEM Enrichment Program
Theme: Laws of Motion LEGO Classes
Introduce kids to physics, including the "Laws of Motion" made famous by Sir Isaac Newton. By explaining terms like inertia and mass using simple words, Bricks 4 Kidz lessons give students a foundation for understanding concepts that they will delve deeper into in years to come. For now, they get to build fun stuff out of LEGO
® bricks and create a positive association that science is fun! During this unit, kids will launch a paper footballs at targets with the catapult model, give their mini-figures a ride on motorized see-saw and swing-o-rama rides, and practice telling time as they build the clock model. At Bricks 4 Kidz, we know how to keep their hands and their minds busy! Who says physics is boring? Test out some of Sir Isaac Newton's Laws of motion with models that illustrate the concepts of inertia, force, mass, acceleration, and the observation that every action has an equal and opposite reaction. What will your reaction be to our Bricks 4 Kidz action-packed after school class? We doubt you'll "stay at rest" with these challenging projects designed to accelerate the learning with the force of fun!

Cottonwood Elementary Classes will start on Thursday Nov. 2nd - Dec. 14th, 2017 from 2:10 -3:10 pm (Room 301).
Sycamore Elementary Classes w ill start on Thursday Nov. 2nd - Dec. 14th, 2017 from 2:30-3:30 pm (Room 801 - Library).
Copper Ridge Elementary Classes will start on Friday Oct. 27th - Dec. 15th, 2017 from 2:10-3:10 pm (Room No. 322).
