Red Brick Schoolhouse & Community Center Usage Study

Elector Decision Coming In April

Steady progress is being made by the Town Board, with the help of Funktion Design Studio of Wausau, to prepare St. Germain voters for a simple, one question referendum in April to determine the extent to which either of these buildings, or modifications or replacement of them will serve the future needs of the community.

Funktion Design presented updated options and costs at the Town Board October 31st meeting in response to the Town Board reduction of total square footage requirements. Documents from that presentation are available for viewing on the Red Brick Schoolhouse / Community Center page of the town website.

Details of the board's proposed recommendation, and how to fund it, will be finalized in early 2018. Information will be provided to electors in advance of the spring election, the ballot of which will include a binding referendum question. Stay tuned, much more to follow soon.
